Listing guidelines
How we expect job listings to look and behave. These support our moderation; the Terms of Service remain the binding agreement.
Last updated: 26 April 2026. We review submissions before publication. Following these guidelines speeds up approval and keeps the board useful for job seekers. The Terms of Service always apply.
Accuracy and honesty
- Use a clear, accurate job title and company name.
- Describe the role truthfully; do not exaggerate pay, benefits, or conditions.
- Provide working URLs for the listing source and how to apply or get in touch.
- Keep location and pay fields consistent with the description.
Fairness and law
- Do not discriminate unlawfully or post requirements that violate applicable anti-discrimination law.
- No harassment, hate speech, or exploitative offers.
- No misleading “bait” roles, pyramid schemes, or unrelated promotions framed as jobs.
Quality and relevance
- Listings should be genuine open roles (or clearly labelled if they are expressions of interest).
- Choose the category that best matches the work.
- Avoid duplicate spam: one listing per distinct role; refresh or edit instead of reposting many copies.
Rights to post
Only submit listings you are authorised to advertise. Do not copy ads or branding you do not have permission to use. If you are not the employer, make that clear where it could confuse applicants.
Safety
Do not ask applicants to pay unlawful fees to secure a job, share unnecessary sensitive data in the public listing, or route people to phishing or malware sites. We may remove listings that appear unsafe or deceptive.
Enforcement
We may reject, edit, or remove listings that break these guidelines or the Terms, with or without explanation. Repeated or serious violations may lead to account restrictions.
