Permanent front of house management position at waterfront restaurant in Picton with stunning harbor views, leading a small team with wine service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise duty managers
• Provide table service to guests
• Handle cash and financial transactions
• Manage stock and inventory
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Communicate with kitchen staff
• Train seasonal team members
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and liquor laws

Requirements

• 1-3 years quality restaurant table service experience
• Keen interest in wine and willingness to learn
• Outgoing personality for customer interaction
• Proactive with can-do attitude
• Strong prioritization and quick thinking
• Attention to detail and consistency
• Excellent conversational English
• Physical fitness for standing and lifting
• Current NZ work rights (Working Holiday Visa acceptable)
• Available evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Management experience ideal
