Description

Coordinator and assistant manager role setting up glamping accommodation at events with tipi bell tents and managing retail camping products business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and find casual staff with guidance
  • Pack and prepare equipment for events
  • Travel to and from events nationwide
  • Drive small truck/vehicle and trailer (manual)
  • Lead installs and pack ups of glamping sites
  • Complete office admin work
  • Support manager in business growth and administration
  • Liaise with event coordinators and clients
  • Manage warehousing activities and maintenance
  • Handle stock management and retail despatch
  • Support business development including marketing and content creation
  • Provide trade show support

Requirements

  • Experience necessary in events industry
  • Good work ethic and professionalism
  • Ability to complete 2 full seasons preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Physical fitness and strength essential
  • Fluency in English
  • Legal ability to work in New Zealand
  • Experience leading people
  • Enjoy traveling and camping
  • Able to work independently
  • Own transport to get to work
  • Personable with strong communication skills
  • Minimal home commitments
  • Based in Taupo or have campervan
