Description
Coordinator and assistant manager role setting up glamping accommodation at events with tipi bell tents and managing retail camping products business.
Responsibilities
- Manage and find casual staff with guidance
- Pack and prepare equipment for events
- Travel to and from events nationwide
- Drive small truck/vehicle and trailer (manual)
- Lead installs and pack ups of glamping sites
- Complete office admin work
- Support manager in business growth and administration
- Liaise with event coordinators and clients
- Manage warehousing activities and maintenance
- Handle stock management and retail despatch
- Support business development including marketing and content creation
- Provide trade show support
Requirements
- Experience necessary in events industry
- Good work ethic and professionalism
- Ability to complete 2 full seasons preferred
- Attention to detail
- Physical fitness and strength essential
- Fluency in English
- Legal ability to work in New Zealand
- Experience leading people
- Enjoy traveling and camping
- Able to work independently
- Own transport to get to work
- Personable with strong communication skills
- Minimal home commitments
- Based in Taupo or have campervan
