Description

Technical role repairing and maintaining workwear garments using industrial sewing equipment in Inglewood, Taranaki.

Responsibilities

• Setting up industrial sewing machines with appropriate needles, thread and bobbins
• Perform garment repairs, patching, and alterations on workwear
• Log repairs into Apparelmaster system
• Inspect and assess garments for repair requirements
• Maintain accuracy and quality standards
• Keep work areas and machinery clean and well-maintained
• Complete tasks within required timeframes
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Experience in repairing/patching holes and rips
• Experience in replacing zips and buttons
• Experience in lengthening and shortening sleeves and trouser legs
• Attention to detail
• Time management skills
• Industrial sewing machine experience preferred
