Deliver bilingual astronomy experiences at Lake Tekapo's Dark Sky Project in the International Dark Sky Reserve.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging bilingual (Mandarin and English) guided experiences
• Host and welcome visitors to the Dark Sky Project
• Share astronomy and cultural narratives
• Support bookings, enquiries, and retail operations
• Create a seamless visitor journey across all touchpoints

Requirements

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English (essential)
• Confidence speaking to groups
• Experience in customer service, tourism, retail, or hospitality
• Positive and energetic approach
• Willingness to learn astronomy knowledge and Ngai Tahu values
• Pass Ministry of Justice criminal history check and drug/alcohol testing
