Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations including check-ins, guest services, and cleanliness
• Lead, train, and inspire staff members
• Manage bookings, guest inquiries, and reservations
• Handle inventory and supply management
• Manage finances, cash-ups, and reporting
• Create a welcoming and culturally rich environment
• Promote the hostel and collaborate with the wider team

Requirements

• Proven hospitality management experience (hostel experience preferred)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities
• Confidence with booking systems and financial processes
• Passion for travel and guest experiences
• Genuine appreciation for Maori culture and values
