Description

Part-time position on a 1,200-cow farm near Methven running mid-June until January.

Responsibilities

• Animal health and stock work
• Winter feeding and shifting
• General farm maintenance
• Helping with seasonal tasks such as calving and mating
• Milking when the season restarts

Requirements

• Essential previous farming experience
• Good humour and strong team spirit
• Reliability and positivity
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work rostered shifts including weekends
