Evening receptionist role at an award-winning historic hostel offering accommodation in exchange for guest services and property upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-ins and check-outs during evening hours
• Act as point of contact for guest inquiries and local information
• Maintain cleanliness in communal areas and guest rooms
• Oversee laundry tasks including linens and towels
• Perform light housekeeping and property maintenance
• Be available on call during evening hours for guest assistance

Requirements

• Minimum stay of 2 months
• Valid IRD number and current Working Holiday Visa
• Reliable, flexible, and approachable attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Comfortable performing cleaning tasks and being on call
