Seasonal fixed-term role involving orchard tasks focused on winter pruning, tree training, and disease management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with disease (canker) management and seasonal orchard tasks
• Inspect trees and identify potential disease or orchard health issues
• Use grinders and pruning tools safely including secateurs, loppers, and handsaws
• Regularly climb ladders throughout the day
• Assist with stringing and tree training

Requirements

• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual outdoor work
• Positive can-do attitude, strong work ethic, punctual, and reliable
• Own reliable transport
• Must be New Zealand residents or citizens or hold valid work visa
• Good eyesight and ability to stay focused
