Description

A part-time or casual kitchen hand or cook supports the busy Groper Garage Bar and Restaurant team in coastal Kaikoura for at least three months.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and complete general cleaning
• Assist chefs with food preparation
• Keep the kitchen clean and organised
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures

Requirements

• Kitchen or hospitality experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Positive attitude and team spirit
• Availability for at least three months
• Valid work visa if not a New Zealand citizen or resident

Benefits

• $24.50-$28 per hour plus 8% holiday pay
