Description

Harvest ripe cherries carefully at Central Cherry Orchard, working outdoors in a physically active team role during the January 2027 season.

Responsibilities

• Carefully pick ripe cherries from trees
• Use orchard ladders safely where required
• Carry and work with picking buckets
• Handle fruit carefully to minimise damage
• Work efficiently to meet daily harvest requirements
• Follow orchard safety procedures and instructions
• Work cooperatively as part of the harvest team

Requirements

• NZ citizenship, residency, or a valid NZ work visa
• Physical capability for active outdoor work
• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to work carefully and consistently throughout the day
• Willingness to follow safety procedures
• Teamwork and a positive, hardworking attitude
• Availability throughout the expected January harvest period
