Description

Permanent full-time Bar Manager role leading daily operations, beverage service, stock control and staff development at a Matakana brewery bar.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bar opening, service shifts and closing procedures
• Order, rotate and manage beverage and consumable stock
• Maintain beer lines and cooling systems
• Update drinks lists, pricing and point-of-sale information
• Train and upskill bar staff
• Create a warm and welcoming customer atmosphere

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant bar experience
• Current Manager’s Certificate
• Knowledge of core beer styles and beverage service
• Experience managing and training staff
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good time management and self-motivation
