Description

Support vegetable dispatch operations across two North Canterbury farms by handling produce, stock records, forklifts and customer and transport coordination.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklifts and wrap pallets
• Label crates and communicate with customers and transport companies
• Check produce quality and maintain standards
• Calculate harvest totals, write dispatch dockets and prepare stocktakes
• Work with the Dispatch Manager and a small team

Requirements

• Ability to work unsupervised
• Confident communication with logistics companies, harvest teams and management
• Ability to handle a busy environment and multiple trucks
• Willingness to learn; previous experience and forklift licence are not required
• Teamwork, positive attitude and interest in long-term development
