Description

The engineer services commercial, industrial and residential refrigeration and air-conditioning systems across Wellington through maintenance, repairs, commissioning and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive fault finding, repairs and scheduled maintenance
• Service air-conditioning, refrigeration, chilled water, ventilation and heating systems
• Carry out commissioning, calibration and quality documentation
• Mentor apprentices and support team development
• Respond to urgent issues through the after-hours on-call roster

Requirements

• Recognised refrigeration and air-conditioning qualification
• Proven commercial or industrial experience
• Hands-on ability to maintain, fault-find, repair and replace parts
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to quality work, health and safety, and deadlines
