Description

Seasonal orchard and packhouse workers support organic blueberry production through horticultural tasks, harvesting, packing, maintenance and occasional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform weeding, mowing and scrubcutting
• Maintain irrigation, plants and farm infrastructure
• Harvest and load berries
• Grade, sort and pack blueberries using packhouse equipment
• Clean work areas and picking gear to organic food-safety standards
• Support warehouse fulfilment, markets, sales and food preparation

Requirements

• Physical fitness for outdoor horticultural work
• Willingness to work across orchard and packhouse roles
• Ability to follow organic and food-safe hygiene procedures
• Teamwork and adaptability
• Availability during the October–April summer season
