Description

A café chef prepares and presents menu dishes, maintains food safety, manages stock and supports a collaborative kitchen team during the summer season.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, bake and present menu dishes
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards
• Monitor stock, rotate produce and assist with ordering and stocktakes
• Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen staff during service
• Minimize food waste and raise concerns with the Head Chef

Requirements

• All-round café chef experience in a commercial kitchen
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking methods
• Ability to work independently and follow recipes
• Relevant culinary qualification and food safety certificate preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Availability for weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Ability to work under pressure with speed and consistency
