Description

A service deli assistant prepares fresh meals and deli products, cooks hot food and maintains displays while working in a busy supermarket kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ready-to-eat meals and deli items
• Cook roast chickens, pies and smallgoods
• Slice deli meats and assemble sandwiches, wraps and salads
• Keep cabinets stocked, clean and attractive
• Work closely with the deli team
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards

Requirements

• Positive attitude and interest in food
• Ability to follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Team player attitude
• Reliability and willingness to work early starts
• Valid right to work in New Zealand
