Description

Process, package and prepare seafood at a New Lynn facility while meeting production targets, food safety requirements and high hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and process fish and oysters to company specifications
• Operate seafood processing equipment safely and efficiently
• Sort, grade and package seafood for distribution
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in production areas
• Monitor product quality and report issues to supervisors
• Work with the team to meet daily production targets
• Follow health and safety procedures and use protective equipment
• Assist with general maintenance and cleaning

Requirements

• Ability to work in cool or cold environments for extended periods
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle varying weights
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Willingness to follow food safety and health and safety procedures
• Teamwork and ability to take direction
• Reliability and punctuality
• Fish cutting or oyster shucking experience is desirable but not essential
