Description

The Maintenance and Assets Manager leads maintenance, asset planning, contractors and capital planning across Tekapo Springs’ complex tourism facilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities across the Tekapo Springs operation
• Develop preventative and predictive maintenance programmes
• Coordinate reactive maintenance and emergency response
• Manage asset registers, lifecycle costs and renewal programmes
• Provide technical oversight of plant, buildings and infrastructure
• Prepare capital expenditure recommendations and business cases

Requirements

• Seven or more years of tourism experience focused on winter activities
• Extensive maintenance operations and complex plant-management experience
• Asset lifecycle, preventative maintenance and contractor-management experience
• Strong budgeting, planning, communication and leadership skills
• Trade qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field
• Experience with CMMS or maintenance software
