Description

Manage an on-site seasonal worker accommodation facility and campsite in Lowburn during the Central Otago cherry harvest, keeping operations safe, clean and organised.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation and presentation of the accommodation facility and campsite
• Coordinate occupant arrivals and departures and maintain accurate records
• Complete cleaning and maintain hygiene and presentation standards
• Monitor facilities and coordinate maintenance, tradespeople and contractors
• Conduct site inductions and communicate rules and expectations
• Support health and safety, emergency procedures and occupant requests
• Resolve problems calmly and report operational issues to Orchard Management

Requirements

• Full New Zealand driver licence
• Practical, organised, reliable and people-focused approach
• Clear communication with people from different backgrounds
• Ability to work independently and enforce site rules respectfully
• Cleaning, hygiene and health and safety capability
• Basic technology skills for communication and record keeping
• Availability for most of the harvest period, including weekends and occasional after-hours
