Description

Demi or commis chef prepares food and supports kitchen operations at a busy cafe, bar and eatery in Hanmer Springs during morning and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for breakfast and daytime service
• Assist other chefs and support kitchen operations
• Maintain general kitchen cleanliness
• Work morning shifts and occasional Saturdays
• Help as a flexible all-rounder across the kitchen

Requirements

• One to two years of commercial kitchen experience preferred
• Previous cook, commis or demi chef experience
• Reasonable spoken English
• Flexibility to work any five days of seven
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
• Ability to work independently in a small team
