Description

Field worker joins a vegetable production team outdoors, planting and harvesting lettuce, broccoli and babyleaf crops in North Canterbury.

Responsibilities

• Transplant broccoli and lettuce seedlings
• Correct misplaced seedlings behind the transplanter
• Sort seedlings onto racks
• Walk behind the babyleaf harvester
• Sort mesclun and spinach into crates
• Stack crates safely onto trailers

Requirements

• Physical fitness for outdoor work
• Motivation to work independently and in a team
• Hardworking and reliable attitude
• Good communication skills
• Legal ability to work in New Zealand
• Full current driver licence, NZ bank account and IRD number
