Description

Seasonal produce workers grade onions, pack bags into crates and stack heavy bags and crates on pallets in an unheated packing environment.

Responsibilities

• Grade onions on conveyor belts and remove bad onions.
• Pack 1.5-kilogram onion bags into crates.
• Stack and lift 16-kilogram and 20-kilogram bags and crates onto pallets.
• Stand for the full shift while grading or stacking produce.

Requirements

• Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting.
• Ability to stand for the whole shift.
• No previous experience required.
• Readiness to work in an unheated environment.
• Availability for 25 to 40 hours per week depending on order volumes.

Benefits

• NZD 25 per hour plus 8% holiday pay.
