Description

Seasonal orchard workers join a thinning crew to care for fruit trees from late September through November while working safely outdoors and on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Thin fruit trees as part of an orchard crew.
• Work from ladders during orchard operations.
• Complete seasonal work from approximately late September through early or mid-November.
• Follow orchard safety procedures and work cooperatively with the crew.

Requirements

• Physical fitness for outdoor orchard work.
• Comfortable working from a ladder.
• Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Enthusiastic and reliable approach to seasonal work.
• Not eligible for employment on an SSE visa.

Benefits

• NZD 23.95 per hour plus 8% holiday pay.
• On-site shared accommodation may be available.
• Shared facilities include Wi-Fi, showers, toilets and a basic kitchen.
• Seasonal work through early to mid-November.
