Description

Seasonal orchard team members support stringing, tree training and general orchard work outdoors while following safety procedures and working collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stringing and tree training by tying and positioning branches.
• Climb ladders and carry a 2.4-metre ladder during orchard work.
• Follow health and safety procedures in changing weather conditions.
• Support supervisors and collaborate with the wider orchard team.

Requirements

• Physical fitness to stand all day and carry a heavy ladder.
• Comfort with repetitive manual outdoor work.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, punctuality and reliability.
• Own reliable transport, excluding bicycles.
• New Zealand citizenship, residency or a valid work visa.
• Availability for weekday work and weekends when required.
