Description

This seasonal orchard role involves bud thinning and related kiwifruit work across Opotiki, Edgecumbe and Te Kaha for a horticultural contractor.

Responsibilities

• Perform kiwifruit bud thinning and other seasonal orchard tasks
• Work reliably in changing weather conditions
• Travel to orchards using personal or provided transport
• Work cooperatively as part of a horticultural team

Requirements

• Physical fitness for demanding outdoor work
• Honesty, reliability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a team
• New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa
