Description

Thin stonefruit trees by removing excess fruitlets and using ladders in demanding outdoor conditions to help produce high-quality fruit before Christmas.

Responsibilities

• Remove fruitlets to support high-quality fruit production
• Carry and use ladders throughout the workday
• Thin trees accurately with a work partner
• Work in sun, wind, and cool mornings
• Meet daily thinning goals in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Confidence using ladders
• Physical fitness for ladder and overhead work
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfort working in hot sun and strong wind
• Positive team-player attitude
• Previous fruit-tree thinning experience is advantageous
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
