Description

A casual fixed-term orchard position in the Temuka and Rangitata area completing seasonal thinning and tree training on Rockit apple crops outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Thin Rockit apple trees
• Train orchard trees
• Work outdoors in changing weather
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Follow seasonal orchard instructions

Requirements

• Good physical fitness
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Previous orchard experience is beneficial but not essential
