An outdoor seasonal orange harvest role involving careful fruit picking, ladder work, tractor driving and transfer of filled bins while following orchard safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick oranges into picking bags
• Transfer harvested fruit into field bins
• Safely use and carry ladders for higher branches
• Drive small orchard tractors
• Follow health and safety procedures

Requirements

• High physical fitness and stamina
• Comfort working at heights and outdoors in changing weather
• Good English communication skills
• Reliability, punctuality and own transport
• Current New Zealand presence, valid work holiday visa, IRD number and NZ bank account
