Description

Fixed-term orchard work across a 60-hectare kiwifruit operation, carrying out seasonal canopy management and fruit-thinning tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Bud thinning and vine monitoring
• Shoot thinning, tie-down and summer pruning
• Fruit thinning and cane training
• Ongoing vine maintenance and health and safety participation

Requirements

• Physical fitness for sustained outdoor work and long periods standing
• Ability to follow instructions and meet task specifications
• Reliability, punctuality and a positive work attitude
• Kiwifruit canopy or horticulture experience preferred but not essential
• Current New Zealand driver licence preferred and valid New Zealand work rights
