Description

Fixed-term orchard work leading about 20 staff through apple thinning and harvest operations while reporting to the Orchard Manager during the 2026–27 season.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 20 orchard staff
• Support apple thinning and harvest operations
• Report to the Orchard Manager
• Use computer systems and software as required

Requirements

• Previous orchard experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Comfort using computer systems and software
• Valid New Zealand work visa

Benefits

• Hourly pay of $27 to $30 depending on experience
• Fixed-term seasonal work from mid-October 2026 to mid-April 2027
