Description

Onion graders and packers work in a cool Lincoln facility, sorting onions on conveyor belts and packing bags into crates for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Grade onions on conveyor belts and remove defective produce
• Pack 1.5-kilogram onion bags into crates
• Stand for the full shift while grading or stacking bags
• Work 20 to 40 hours weekly according to order volumes

Requirements

• Physical ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to perform repetitive grading and stacking tasks
• No previous experience required
• Availability for variable finish times and immediate start

Benefits

• NZD 25 per hour plus 8% holiday pay
• Immediate start through the end of October
• Part-time to near full-time hours depending on orders
