Description

Apple thinners remove excess and poor-quality fruit from orchard trees using ladders while working outdoors as part of a collaborative seasonal team.

Responsibilities

• Remove excess fruitlets and poor-quality fruit from apple trees
• Use a 2.4-metre ladder safely during orchard work
• Work scheduled weekday shifts and be available for weekend work
• Complete the thinning season where possible

Requirements

• Reasonable physical fitness and ability to climb ladders
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Availability for early starts and variable weather
• New Zealand work rights through citizenship, residency, or a current work visa

Benefits
