Description

Lead a field planting crew across daily operations, balancing workloads and maintaining productivity, quality and safety through a fixed-term horticultural role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in daily planting operations
• Allocate jobs to optimize crew efficiency
• Set up, check and maintain planting equipment
• Ensure planting targets are met safely and on time
• Enforce health and safety practices and report incidents
• Mentor team members and monitor attendance and morale
• Complete safety checks, tray counts and daily records

Requirements

• Motivation and reliability in a hands-on role
• Strong communication and people skills
• Organization and workload management under pressure
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Current full driver licence
• NZ work rights, bank account and IRD number
