Description

Full-time orchard machinery role operating equipment, supporting harvest logistics and maintaining safe, efficient fruit production across Central Otago orchards.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors with mowers, sprayers, cultivators and bin trailers
• Apply orchard sprays and fertiliser safely and accurately
• Assist harvest logistics, fruit transport and bin handling
• Complete pre-start checks and routine machinery maintenance
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
• Follow health, safety and biosecurity protocols
• Assist with other orchard tasks as required

Requirements

• Valid New Zealand driver’s licence
• Prior machinery experience preferred but not essential
• Good physical fitness
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently or in a team
• Good communication, honesty and integrity
• New Zealand resident or citizen
