Description

Seasonal horticultural work at Southern Cross Horticulture orchards, carrying out kiwifruit canopy tasks outdoors with training and flexible, weather-dependent hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform bud thinning, crush tipping and cane training on kiwifruit plants
• Work outdoors from 08:00 to 17:00 as weather permits
• Follow orchard work procedures and maintain attention to detail

Requirements

• Physical fitness for sustained outdoor work
• Minimum height of 165 cm to comfortably reach the canopy
• Reliable transport
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Valid New Zealand working holiday visa
