Description

Roading and civil workers join summer infrastructure crews in Timaru, undertaking construction, machinery, traffic management and general site duties.

Responsibilities

• Complete road maintenance and construction work
• Prepare sites and carry out excavation
• Operate machinery and equipment or drive heavy vehicles
• Perform traffic management and site safety duties
• Complete digging, sweeping, wheelbarrow work and general labour

Requirements

• Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weather
• Relevant licences, tickets or industry experience where applicable
• Strong work ethic, reliability and safety commitment
• NZ work rights and current location in New Zealand
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
• Willingness to work away from home when required

Benefits
