Description

Lead the day-to-day visitor experience at a national wildlife centre, coordinating front-of-house staff and volunteers while delivering welcoming, engaging service.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily visitor-experience delivery
• Coordinate permanent staff, casual employees and volunteers during shifts
• Maintain high customer-service standards and welcoming visitor areas
• Coordinate talks, tours, activities and visitor programmes
• Support café, retail and visitor-centre operations
• Resolve visitor feedback and issues professionally
• Coach staff and support training and cross-skilling
• Reinforce health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Experience in a busy customer-facing environment
• Experience leading, supervising or coordinating others
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confidence resolving customer problems
• Ability to remain calm when priorities change
• Positive, accountable and solutions-focused approach
• Commercial awareness and confidence promoting experiences
• Ability to work with staff, casuals and volunteers
