Description

A skilled stockperson will manage varied sheep and beef station work near Omakau, including stock handling, fencing, maintenance, tractor work, and irrigation.

Responsibilities

• Handling stock through crutching, drafting, and moving
• Moving break fences and completing general farm maintenance
• Operating tractors and assisting with pivot irrigation
• Working independently across varied daily stock duties

Requirements

• Extensive sheep and beef stock experience
• Strong stock sense and practical farm skills
• Maturity and ability to work unsupervised
• Fluent spoken, written, and understood English
• Reliability and willingness to contribute to a close-knit team
