A Dunedin neighbourhood restaurant seeks an experienced waiter to run a section, deliver polished table service and build strong guest relationships in a busy team.

Responsibilities

• Look after a restaurant section and provide excellent guest experiences
• Deliver table service, clear plates and carry trays of drinks
• Communicate with guests and upsell food and beverages
• Learn and follow restaurant systems
• Build rapport with regular customers

Requirements

• At least two years of table-service waiter experience
• Passion for customer service and interest in wine and food
• Good energy, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to upsell and work in a systems-focused environment
• Availability for stated day and evening shifts and local Dunedin presence
