Description

A civil labourer assists drainage, pipeline, excavation, and site reinstatement crews on major infrastructure projects around Queenstown while maintaining safe work zones.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drainage, water, and stormwater pipeline installation
• Support trenching, excavation, and pipe-laying crews
• Operate hand and power tools
• Assist machinery operators and maintain safe work zones
• Complete backfilling, compaction, and site reinstatement
• Perform general labouring on active civil construction sites

Requirements

• Civil construction or drainage experience preferred
• Full New Zealand Class 1 driver licence
• Reliable transport
• Physical fitness and strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Positive attitude and commitment to health and safety
