Description

Support Pure Pac’s cherry harvest by sorting, grading, packing and checking fruit quality while maintaining food safety in a fast-paced packhouse.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sort and grade cherries by quality, size and ripeness.
• Pack cherries into designated containers and label packages accurately.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Operate packing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Clean equipment and perform basic maintenance when required.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Requirements

• Ability to identify and sort cherries accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a dynamic team.
• Flexibility to work in varying temperatures and changing demands.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Dependable, punctual and able to communicate verbally.
• Valid New Zealand working rights.
