Description

Perform seasonal fixed-term kiwifruit orchard thinning in Kerikeri, completing weather-dependent physical work outdoors for up to six days each week.

Responsibilities

• Thin kiwifruit in an orchard with arms above your head.
• Work outdoors and remain on your feet for the whole shift.
• Follow supervisor directions and communicate through WhatsApp.
• Use supplied sunscreen and safety glasses while working.

Requirements

• Valid New Zealand working rights.
• Availability to work any day of the week.
• Good physical fitness for overhead and standing work.
• Own reliable transport.
• Mobile phone capable of downloading and using WhatsApp.
• Covered footwear and wet-weather gear.

Benefits

• Starting rate of NZ$24.50 per hour plus 8% holiday pay.
• PPE including sunscreen and safety glasses supplied.
• Work may be available five to six days per week.
