Description

Support the Dispatch Manager in coordinating vegetable orders, logistics, packaging, quality checks and forklift operations for a busy North Canterbury producer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate orders with the harvest, production and sales teams.
• Communicate with truck drivers and logistics coordinators.
• Order packaging and prepare produce for dispatch using a forklift.
• Monitor produce quality against internal specifications.
• Complete dispatch dockets and stock sheets.

Requirements

• Confident communication with logistics companies and internal departments.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
• Ability to work under pressure when multiple trucks arrive.
• Previous horticultural or primary-industry experience is useful but not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
