Responsibilities

• Setting up industrial sewing machines with appropriate needles, tread and bobbins for each repair item.
• Perform garment repairs, patching, and alterations on workwear and other items using industrial sewing machines.
• Log in to the Repairers app and scan each repair item into the Apparelmaster system.
• Inspect and assess garments for repair or alteration requirements.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in line with company quality standards.
• Ensure that work areas, including machinery, are kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
• Complete assigned tasks within the required timeframes.
• Support operational needs in other production areas as reasonably required by management. This is in line with our ‘Team’ value -Together we achieve.

Requirements

• Repairing/patching holes and trips
• Replacing zips and buttons
• Lengthening and shortening sleeves and trouser legs

Benefits

• The role is 35-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Starting payrate is 26 + 8% annual leave per hour.
