Description

Sarita Orchard is looking for an experienced forklift operator for the packhouse for the upcoming season. You would need to be available from early-November until the start of February.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment
• Load and unload materials

Requirements

• Unload as required during the day and load outwards cherries for shipping after ensuring documentation is correct
• Must a current forklift certificate, an F endorsement is not required
• Must either be a New Zealand citizen/resident or have a valid work visa to work in NZ
• Unload inwards cherries, and wash them before placing in inwards coolstore, ensuring cherry bins have correct date/block/variety before unloading
• Maintain forklifts - completing daily checks

• Deliver cherries to packhouse for packing, ensuring bucket tippers are tipping at correct rate
