Description

Dairy farm work on the West Coast including calving and milking operations with a 500-cow herd.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calving operations
• Milk 500 cows through 36-bail rotary system
• Operate 2-wheel and 4-wheel motorbikes
• Care for livestock and calves
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions

Requirements

• Ability to confidently ride 2- and 4-wheel motorbikes
• Strong and fit, able to lift at least 20kg calf
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Stamina to work long days
• Calf rearing or milking experience preferred
• Own transport to reach farm
• Working holiday visa allowing up to 3 months with one employer
