Description

Join a diverse South Canterbury farming operation combining sheep, beef, pigs, and machinery work in Timaru.

Responsibilities

• Routine sheep stock work and moving fences
• Administering animal treatments and routine animal health tasks
• Assisting with lambing, tailing, vaccinations, and weaning
• Supporting shearing and livestock movements
• Tractor work throughout the season
• Fencing and general farm maintenance
• Assisting with cattle and pig operations as required

Requirements

• Previous livestock experience essential
• Previous experience with pigs is preferred
• Tractor experience required
• Full driver licence essential
• Good stock sense and willingness to learn
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
