Description

We're looking for reliable casual staff to assist with beehive frame cleaning and scraping for the 2026 season, working from May through to June.

Responsibilities

• Scraping and cleaning beehive frames and hive components
• Removing wax, propolis, and debris using hand tools
• Stacking and organising cleaned frames
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Assisting with general yard or beekeeping tasks as required

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual – this is non-negotiable
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive, manual work
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
• Good work ethic and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous beekeeping or labouring experience is a bonus, but not essential
• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
