Description

Assist with seasonal cherry pruning operations across orchard blocks, supporting healthy tree growth and optimal cherry production.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Hydralada elevated work platform
• Prune high branches and tree-tops using loppers and pruning saws
• Follow instructions from orchard supervisor regarding cut styles
• Maintain safe operation of machinery
• Perform regular checks on equipment condition
• Remove dead, diseased, or excess growth
• Clear pruned material from rows and maintain tidy workspaces

Requirements

• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
• NZ bank account number
• Ability to work outdoors in farm/orchard environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive movement
• Ability to perform lifting, stretching, and overhead work

Benefits
